UCT Tax Unit & IBFD workshop on the taxation of cross-border service fees

18 February 2016, Cape Town.

A successful workshop dedicated to the cross-border taxation of high value service fees was hosted by the staff of the UCT Tax Unit for Fiscal Research in collaboration with the International Bureau for Fiscal Documentation (IBFD).  The workshop was well attended by UCT academics, postgraduate students and members of the public. 

The annual UCT-IBFD award for the most outstanding dissertation on a topic dealing with international taxation was also awarded at this occasion to Monique Ritchie.
